With outline planning pending, the scheme includes a new community for 1,535 homes, a school and local centre and 122,500 sqm (1,318,500 sq ft) of employment floorspace set across 35 hectares of allocated development land.
With excellent transport links to major highways, Chidswell is strategically located in the heart of the UK between the M1 and M62 Motorways.
The Church Commissioners will be working with a development partner to deliver the employment stage aligned with investment and occupier interest. Determination of the outline application is expected Q2/Q3 2022.
